In just five minutes one Friday my fate was sealed. I sat down at my computer, looked up the Five Minute Friday prompt for the week and I bloomed into this new stage of my life! The words seemed to just pour into me and flow out of my fingers onto the screen. I nervously pushed the publish button and waited. I was sure no one would read it. But within minutes it was not only read, but shared and commented on. And just like that I found my tribe! That was just over two years ago. They have encouraged and prayed for me. They have shared life’s ups and downs with equal devotion.
It’s been a bumpy road at times. I haven’t always embraced this gift, this calling or whatever you want to call it. I haven’t been as disciplined at developing this talent as I should. But still they were there. And now, with them, I walk into another chapter of life! As a published author! Published somewhere other than on my blog that is. Check in Monday for information on where you can order the Five Minute Friday Book!
If you’re a writer, or if you are thinking about writing/blogging, I encourage you to come check out the Five Minute Friday Community. Words can never explain how much they mean to me and how grateful I am that I started my writing journey with them!
Godspeed,
Mollie <3
This post is part of the Five Minute Friday link-up. FMF is where bloggers gather together to form a writing flash mob where we all write on a one word prompt for 5 minutes with no editing! Sound like fun? You can learn more by clicking on the button below and/or join this week’s link-up here!
I love it! Yep. This is a good tribe to be a part of. I’m really excited by this book. I gave her 3 options and I have no idea which one she chose. 😀
